About the Client

Kaplan, Inc. launched company in 2014 and has been awarded accreditation by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) for all data science programming. ACCET has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978. The rigorous standards prescribed by ACCET include demanding review and approval of the Company curriculum, of instructional personnel, of instructional delivery, and of admissions and student services.

What’s the problem?

Client is using ruby on rails web application to register student details for their educational training modules.

• Client came to us and want to register student details in Salesforce CRM ,as they want to migrate and manage their sales from Salesforce CRM.
• Client wants to capture students data which include personal information, basic details, programming details and education, test questions and some basic questions about the student.

What we did?

We designed multi-step student form categorizing above details into 8 different categories:-

• Using Salesforce visual flow and lightning components we created a site page which was later hoisted under the client domain.

How did it do?

The solution delivered an improved and uptake of Salesforce, resulting in better data quality and improved business insight

• We used flow building blocks to design an application wizard with multiple screens to take user input.
• Wizard UI guided the user interaction and data entry and in background it collected the user data and saved as records in Salesforce.
